Functional ingredients for food plants, bakeries and commercial kitchens. Cal, the lime powder used to nixtamalize corn, is the start of masa for tortillas and tamales. Citric acid sets the acidity in drinks, candy, seasoning blends and sauces. Arrowroot thickens sauces, gravies and pie fillings without clouding them. Grenetina (gelatin) sets gelatinas, mousses and cheesecakes.

MSG adds umami to seasoning blends, soups, broths and snack coatings. Textured soy protein goes into meat-free fillings and extended ground-meat products. Minimum order is 50 lb per product.
