The questions buyers ask before their first order.
What is the minimum order?
50 lb per product, and any amount above that. You can mix products on one quote, so a first order can be 50 lb each of several lines.
How do I get a price?
Add what you need to a quote list and send it in. We reply by email with every line priced at the day’s market cost. Quotes are valid for 14 days.
What does FOB Los Angeles mean for my order?
Prices are FOB our Los Angeles warehouse unless otherwise stated. Freight from our dock to you is arranged by you unless your quote says otherwise.
Where do I pick up?
From our dock at 746 Merchant St, Los Angeles, CA 90021, Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm. Collect orders from the dock, not from our 747 S Central Ave street address.
Do you deliver outside Los Angeles?
No. We deliver within Los Angeles only. Outside LA, collect from our dock or arrange your own freight with a third-party carrier.
How does freight work?
Your carrier collects from our dock, and we load pallets or full truckloads for it. If you want us to price third-party freight, choose “I need a freight estimate” on the quote form and give the full ship-to address: street, city, state and ZIP.
How large an order can you supply?
From 50 lb trial runs to full-scale orders of up to 50 metric tons (110,000 lb).
Can you supply on a recurring schedule?
Yes. We support both recurring and one-time bulk orders. Tell us your typical monthly volume on the quote form and we can price for it.
What certifications do you hold?
Santa Maura is SQF certified for food storage and distribution, a GMP/HACCP certified food safety supplier, and Kosher Certified (MK Pareve). Products meet FDA, USDA and Customs requirements. We are also a member of the American Spice Trade Association (ASTA).
