Dried squash blossom, sold here as Flor de Calabaza – Dried, is a mild, slightly sweet and vegetal ingredient used in Mexican soups, quesadilla and tamal fillings, and specialty dishes that call for the flower. The whole dried blossoms keep their color and aroma and rehydrate in broth or a sauté before going into a filling or a pot of sopa de flor de calabaza. Restaurant kitchens and specialty manufacturers use it to keep those dishes on the menu.
Bulk only, from 50 lb, with pricing quoted at the day's market cost. Product ships from the Los Angeles warehouse by pallet, truckload or container, or can be collected Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. Add Flor de Calabaza – Dried to a quote to get current pricing.
