With no heat (0 SHU), Green Bell Pepper – Dried contributes just the mild, sweet, vegetal flavor and green color of bell pepper in a dried cut. It goes into soups, stews, rice and bean dishes, Southern-style vegetable seasonings, dry soup and dip mixes, and prepared foods where a visible fleck of green pepper is wanted. The consistent cut distributes evenly through large seasoning batches and rehydrates in wet applications.
