Lentils – Whole are dried lentils with consistent, uniform sizing, so a batch hydrates evenly and cooks in 20–30 minutes with no soaking required. That short cook time suits busy prep kitchens and production lines. They go into Indian dal, Middle Eastern mujadara and lentil soup, Mediterranean salads and grain bowls, Mexican sopa de lentejas, and prepared meals. High in protein and a good source of fiber, they suit sides, salads and packaged products alike.
Lentils are sold in bulk only, from 50 lb upward, and quoted at the day's market cost. Stock ships from our Los Angeles warehouse by pallet, truckload or container, and local buyers can collect Monday to Friday between 7am and 3pm.
