Onion – Minced is dried onion in small minced pieces, with a bold, savory, concentrated flavor and enough texture to register in the finished dish. It goes into soups, stews, seasoning blends, meat mixes and prepared foods, and rehydrates in place during cooking. For high-volume kitchens it removes peeling and chopping from prep; for manufacturers it gives a dry onion component that measures the same every time.
