Pequin Chile – Whole are small dried pods with hot, sharp, clean heat at 30,000–60,000 SHU. Because the pods are small, the heat is concentrated, and a modest amount carries hot sauces, Southern-style pepper sauces, Mexican salsas, spice blends and extreme-heat products. Whole form suits steeping, grinding and controlled dosing in commercial production.
Pequin is sold bulk only, from 50 lb per order with any quantity above, and priced at the day's market cost. Add pequin chiles to a quote for pricing.
