Nutty, mild and slightly sweet, Poppy Seeds – Blue are whole blue-black seeds used mostly on and in baked goods. They are sprinkled over bagels, rolls and breads before baking, worked into pastry fillings and cakes, and blended into dressings. Middle Eastern and Southern American bakeries both use them, and the clean, consistent seed suits bulk production for bakeries and food manufacturers.
