Star Anise – Whole are whole star-shaped pods with bold licorice, sweet, aromatic flavor. They infuse into pho and other Southeast Asian broths, Chinese braising liquids and master stocks, and Indian spice blends and sauces, and they are one of the components of Chinese five spice. The whole format supports flexible processing: infuse and remove, or grind fresh as needed.
Minimum order is 50 lb, with any amount above that quoted at current market cost. To request pricing, add star anise to your quote.
