Tepin Chile – Whole is a small round dried pod with very hot, concentrated heat at 50,000–100,000 SHU and a wild chile character. The pods are crushed into Mexican table salsas, ground into spice blends, and used by hot sauce producers in Southern-style and extreme-heat products, where a small quantity does a great deal of work. Because the pods are whole, a plant can dose heat by weight and grind to whatever consistency the product line needs.
